Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC): LINC provides basic and intermediate level English training for adult newcomers to Canada.The English language classes are available for adult newcomers ages 17 or older who are permanent residents or refugees. LINC also assesses prospective students for eligibility and training level; newcomers must first complete a language assessment to find out which level of language class is best for them.
Immigration and Settlement Services: IMSS provides the assistance to navigate immigration and work permit applications, provides formal needs assessment and appropriate referrals to other community services that will allow clients to pursue a defined plan for integration as well as information and orientation to settle in the community
Employment Services: The Employment program provides immigrants, live-in caregivers and refugee newcomers with information about BC's job market, guidance and support on employment issues and connection to the broader community.
Communtiy Connections: IMSS helps connect clients and their families to public institutions, social and geographic environments through local community events and visits.
Women's Program: This program allows IMSS to provide immigrant women with the support that they need to polish their skills, gain financial independence, settle down and adapt to Canada to integrate them with the community.
Seniors Program: This program allows IMSS to provide seniors the support that they need. Seniors get the opportunity to participate in conversation circles once a month to provide them opportunities to socialize and learn from long-time naturalized Canadians and born Canadians to understand different cultures and ethnic backgrounds.
Youth Leadership: IMSS hosts a multitude of different diversity-building and multicultural programs and events for youth. This program focus on more structured activities like leadership building days, anti-bullying workshops, diversity/multiculturalism training and youth employment-related information sessions. A series of Career Exploration workshops are also delivered to help immigrant youth develop their life and job skills to ease their transition to social integration and work or return to school.
Transportation: IMSS provides transportation subsidy assistance to eligible clients to attend the services.

Childminding: The multicultural child-minding program offers free services to children of parents in the Language Training Program (LINC), Life Skills and Educational Programs & Workshops, Summer English Conversation classes and Women's Program.
Provides service to children from birth to 5 years of age to a maximum of 24 child-minding units. We also accept children up to 12 years old on school district Professional Development days and other IMSS special events. Activities in the centre are developed by the staff and presented as weekly and monthly themes refined to reflect the age groups (0 to 18 months, 18 to 36 months and 3 years to school age).
Translation Referral: IMSS provides referrals for translation/interpretation services.

Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) Program: This program provides free assistance to immigrant, refugee and eligible temporary residents living in Prince George and neighbouring communities. The support begins after arrival in Prince George and registration in the Public School.
